*Note: You get 50% (i.e. $148.50) per referred customer once you qualify as a TOP DOG affiliate, which requires you to have referred at least 3 customers per month in each of 2 consecutive calendar months within the first 3 months of joining. Until you qualify as a Top Dog affiliate, you’ll get 35% (i.e. $103.95) per referred customer.
When and how do affiliates get paid?
The referral fees payable for qualifying transactions in a particular month are paid within the first 10 days of the next month depending on whether the affiliate is on a net-90 or net-0 payment basis with us. All payments to affiliates are made via Paypal.
Net-90 Payments: All new affiliates start off at the net-90 level. Since we provide our customers with a 90-day refund policy, new affiliates are paid on a net-90 basis, i.e. you’ll be paid after the customer’s refund period is over.
This means that if one of your referred customers purchases on the 15th of May, their refund period will expire (and so their purchase will become a qualifying sale) on the 13th of August, and you’ll be paid for that sale within the 10th of September.
Net-0 Payments: Once you qualify as a TOP DOG affiliate (which requires you to have referred at least 3 customers per month in each of 2 consecutive calendar months within the first 3 months of joining), you can contact us and ask us to change your payment terms to net-0. This means that if one of your referred customers purchases on the 15th of May, even though their refund period will expire on the 13th of August, you’ll still be paid for that transaction within the 10th of June instead of the 10th of September. If a customer has opted to pay for the masterclass on our installment payment plan of $99 per month for 3 months, you’ll be paid for each installment separately.
Can customers become affiliates and get referral fees on their own purchases?
Customers are absolutely welcome to become affiliates; however, in order to maintain the integrity of our affiliate program, customers and affiliates cannot get referral fees on their own purchases from our website. All affiliate-referred purchases are manually reviewed by our team.
We of course love nothing more than when our happy customers refer OTHER dog owners to our website, and you will obviously earn referral fees for any purchases made by other dog owners whom you’ve referred to us!
When and how will you get paid?
Since we provide our customers with a 90-day refund policy, you’ll be paid after the customer’s refund period is over.
This means that if one of your referred customers purchases on the 15th of May, their refund period will expire on the 13th of August, and you’ll be paid for that sale within the first 10 days of the next month, i.e. within the 10th of September.
