The Brittany Spaniel – a little bit of France in your home
Obedience and training information for the Brittany
Breed Introduction
The Brittany, originally known as the Brittany Spaniel, is the smallest of the French spaniels and excels as a retriever, pointer and tracker. They are active, alert, intelligent, enthusiastic and eager to please. They love children and get along well with other household pets, but must be trained not to chase them. Due to their extraordinary energy, Brittanys need an hour or more of exuberant exercise every day. If you don't have the same energy and enthusiasm, then the Brittany is not the breed for you. Because of their gentle, loving and friendly nature, the Brittany does not make a very good watchdog.

- You are very active and want a dog that is the same (e. g. jog with you, play active games, go hiking, etc.)
